Missoni - Spring 2011 - Review
The Missoni spring 2011 menswear collection immediately struck me as something I could see urban Japanese hipsters coveting: brightly colored chunky knits layered over more brightly colored knit shirts, paired with baggy chinos or shorts and boat shoes. That eclectic, eccentric, and heavily styled look is signature Missoni.
Though there were definitely some bad Bill Cosby-esque sweaters mixed in there, you can't help but love in this setting. Neon was part of a couple of the looks, somewhat latching on to the trend of the season, but otherwise the Missoni collection is its own entity. It is for the bold man who has the money to invest in a garment that is not designed for everyday wear, but is a standout and beautifully crafted.
