You may remember an earlier post I dedicated to another iPad case from Valextra. Well it looks like this whole iPad craze is really taking off, and other luxury houses aren't wasting any time when it comes to developing their own accessories. Tod's has decided to take it to the next level, creating cases made of dyed alligator skins for the sky high price of $4,900. If you're not in the market to drop 5K on housing for your iPad, look for their calfskin option for the reasonable (in comparison) price of $495.
Obviously the cases are great looking, but I would be curious to find how many of the alligator models they actually sell. I'm sure we'll see them on some editors arm, or should I say in their hand, soon enough. Both styles will be available in Tod's boutiques. Splurge.
